Mary first used her vocal talents as a winning contestant in the Tri-State Beauty Pageant for the three states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. The following year, Mary asked the Lord into her life and began to proclaim the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Continental Singers and Orchestra had invited Mary to be their lead soloist, but she regretably had to decline the offer. She was named the Female Vocalist of the Year for the Southeast Region's Great American Gospel Fest and had placed in the top 5 for the National competition.

As a traveling recording artist, Mary Courtney's music has been heard on several Christian Radio Stations across the country. She has also appeared on many Christian Television Networks, such as: Daystar, Babbie Mason's program "Babbie's House, Atlanta Live, CTN in Clearwater, and Orlando's Channel 55, to name a few.

In addition to ministering in churches nationally throughout the year, Mary also takes her speaking & music ministry to Christian Women's Events/Retreats, Baquets, Fairs, and Prisons.

Her current release was produced by Steve Millikan (best known for having produced many of Ray Boltz's projects). Mary's warm musical style penetrates many hearts with the message of Christ's love.
